A honey-bee colony has over 2,000000 bees. Every bee has a job to be. If the bees don't do their jobs then the colony will fall apart. The queen bee's job is to lay the eggs and control the bees with her smell. The drone bee's job is to mate with the queen and make an egg. The worker bee has lots of different jobs.
The nurse bee looks after the baby bee's.
The feeder bee feeds royal jelly to the queen and baby food to the baby bees.
The cleaner bee cleans the bee hive otherwise the bee hive will be messy.
The guard bee protects the honey and the baby bees.
The builder bee makes the bee hive.
The heater bee keeps the baby bees warm.
The fanner bee keeps them cool.
The gatherer bee gets pollen and nectar for the bee hive.
Every bee is really important because it is good for us they help each other.
